Summer Food Service Program

Decatur County Community Schools is excited to be participating in the summer food service program (SFSP) during summer 2025. This free meal program for children 18 and under helps ensure kids stay healthy and well-fed over the summer when school meals are not available. There will be a once-a-week pick up every Wednesday of five free breakfasts and five free lunches for all children ages 18 and under at either North Decatur High School or South Decatur High School. Pick up will need to be completed by a parent or guardian. We will have weekly registration. Please take a moment to register online if you would like to pick up meals. See below for more information.

Transportation News

As we begin preparations for the 2025–2026 school year, we would like to share some important updates regarding the bus stop. If your student is a bus rider, please stay attentive to any changes in your bus number or driver, as we have implemented several updates over the past year. We will be sending out all-calls, emails, and posting to our social media sites throughout the summer to keep you informed. Additionally, our bus drivers will be reaching out to you at some point during the summer. If you have any questions or concerns, don’t hesitate to reach out through email or calling Central Office—we’re here to help! Have a wonderful summer break!
