At NDE, we strive to Nurture our Dreams and Explore!

As the proud principal of North Decatur Elementary, let me be the first to thank you for visiting our website to learn more about our school. We pride ourselves in providing a rigorous and customized learning experience for our students so that each child can find their personal success!

In today’s ever-changing world (and being a level three high-reliability school), we feel it is necessary to stay current with best practices that will expose our students to a variety of experiences that educate the whole child. In addition to aligning our curriculum with the Indiana academic standards, we also promote opportunities where students can apply employability skills through hands-on learning that focuses on: mindset, learning strategies, social and emotional skills, and work ethic.
